About the event
Nature is central to Frank Lloyd Wright's designs and philosophy, and in many cultures, nature is honored as the mother of us all.
Whether you are a mother, are celebrating a mother in your life, or mother nature herself, please join us for this special yoga event Mother's Day weekend. Led by Megan Callahan, founder of Heart Song Healing, this is a singular way to experience this architectural treasure of Western New York. Join us for a unique and mindful tour, followed by an all levels yoga class, at the spectacular home of the Darwin Martin Family designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
We'll begin our time with introductions and a brief overview of the evening and proceed with a meditative, guided tour of the Martin House, Pergola, and Conservatory. Following the tour we will have an all levels yoga practice ending with live music during savasana. We'll then share tea, lemonade and a snack for a perfectly sweet ending to our time together.
Whether you have been to the Martin House many times, or this is your first visit, you will find this to be an intriguing, healing and rejuvenating way to experience the house and grounds. No yoga experience is needed. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket/towel, any desired yoga props, and a water bottle.
This entire event takes place within the Martin House.
Space is limited to 16 participants - these events often sell out quickly.
